Oh, my, what is wrong? Somthing made you really mad. Morning Linda...and YES! I normally change my oil myself but right before thankgiviing I had some running around to do...so I dropped it off at one of those 'quick' oil change services...complete and utter morons working there apparently! I just smelt some oil burning so I checked under my hood...guess what? The tightened my oil fiter down so freaking hard I think they broke the housing! now my car is leaking oil and I was supposed to go up north for the holidays....I know have to go change my oil myself and pray that it is just the o-ring they smashed down to far.....but if it is the housing($304 just for the part) So now I don't know if I'm going anywhere for the holidays definitely can't afford to buy a new engine if this one seizes up because some idiot was in to big of a hurry to READ THE DAMN CAP! it says directly on it how tight it should be...no instead they have to act king kong and torque it down so hard they break ****!!!!!!
I'm going to try to see if somehow I can get them to take responsibility for it...but i'm over the milage that they recommend I come back(not what my owners manual states)...so I know they are going to fight it hard because my car is very expensive to work on...I just loathe fixing someone else's mistake...especially when they are so called 'professionals'

You for sure have a reason to be pissed off! I don't blame you at all I would do everything in my power to see that they take responsibility to fix what THEY messed up!!...
..even I know you only tighten a fliter hand tight on an oil change or with an oil filter wrench not a torch wrench. BIG DUMMIES!!!!..I'm sorry this has happened to you!!..I sure hope you get it resolved so you can go home or wherever you were going for the holidays.
