ski gear - shorts, boat, advil rofl

I've never been snow skiing either LOL I'm guessing layers, but I wonder if typical outdoor coveralls will be enough. Do ski clothes/suits breathe?

just boxer shorts...

Yes snow gear breathes...it's colder riding than skiing, obviously since your not moving, sitting...

In 20 degree weather if you are going to be in any poweder at all you will work up a sweat.

My advice is to wear a silk top and bottom, then light weight fleece and a light weight ski suit something that can wick is the best.

I have found most people that play in the snow get to sweating and then they get cold.

Yes, Ski suits can breathe, that is what the zippered vents are for.

Do you know what type of terrian you will be playing in and wha type of machines. Groomed or ungroomed trails...

As a nurse in a Level II Trauma Center, I recommend a helmet.
AVOID:
Excessive speed
Drinking
Riding at night

Those three make up the "Triangle of Death"

Be safe-Have Fun!
