I'm going to get a hotel to crash at near where the get-together is going to be... just because I don't feel like driving an hour back after the celebration.
Any suggestions from those around the meeting place? Closer to where we'll be having A ROCKING GOOD TIME would be preferable. Thanks, ya'll. |

Hey Tanyaann. Just letting you know, that is the Frank's on the West Side of Lansing, which I'm sure would be fine -they are basically the same bar, BUT The one I suggested was in Okemos, which is on the East side of Lansing - easier to get to for you, Plastic Pancakes and anyone coming from the south or east side of the state (like if someone was coming from Detroit). Doesn't make a difference to me, personally, but I'm thinking you would prefer this one. I will get a link, and post it. |

We should have PKD put that on your first original post along with
the people that are coming. That way everyone can see it. I hope this weather calms down some by then so Kristi and I can make it.

I looked up the average temperature for Feb 20th... it should be above freezing. The way that the weather has been up here this winter... I don't see it a problem to drive in Michigan around that time. I am not sure how the other states are doing on weather and driving conditions. Also, if you and Kristi need a place to crash.. that's not a problem... and I can do most of the driving once you are up here. I do know that I have internship on Fridays... so I won't be home until late on Friday... around 7 pm or so. |

I didn't think any state had an average year this year. We are getting our third snow on Thursday. Even once is odd for us. Well she hasn't actually commited yet, but I will definitely be there. The only two things that would keep me from it is: 1) the weather 2) I have a grandson due on the 11th and he best come then or earlier. Not later
I will take you up on staying there. It is much easier than trying to find a hotel.
