I have awaken from such peaceful slumber
Sunshine blankets the lush green meadow
The bluejays sing anxiously from high above
A warm smile forms slowly from within me
We both lie beneath an enormous cherry tree
She provides us with such glorious coolness
A blanket of dry heat falls upon the meadow
Rays of sunshine reflecting off the lake
I,sit dreamily stareing out at the landscape
While you lie there in a deep peaceful rest
I am awaiting your next smile as you sleep
I feel deeply humbled knowing I cause this
Rays of sun penetrate the overhead branches
Lending such beautiful highlights to your hair
I brush her hair with tender loving strokes
As to never stir my Goddess as she sleeps
May each of our moments last forever;Dear
For each one spent with you,I will cherish
A butterfly swoops down upon the picnic basket
Your eyelids slowly begin to raise their lashes
I can now peek through the windows of your soul
