the end of the movie in "Elvis Has left The Building" (one of my favorites) when all the Elvis impersonators get struck lightening!! Great Scene!

off of the top of my head, i'm going to go with:

the opening scene of Reservoir Dogs

the restaurant scene in The Godfather

the ending to Devil's Rejects

the scene in Jaws where you see the shark under the water as he chomps down on the guy in the rowboat (Brody's son was part of the attack), that scene still sends shivers down my spine whenever i see it

From A Royal Wedding: Fred Astaire dances around the room (Literally!) From The Princess Bride: Buttercup says to The Dread Pirate Roberts 'You can die too for all I care.' She the shoves him down a steep hill. As he tumbles down he says 'As you wish' Thus revealing himself as her true love Wesley.

ok, a couple more off the top o' my head:

the "soap beating" scene in Full Metal Jacket (yeah, it might not sound too great to you, but this happened to a guy in my division when i was in bootcamp. accept we didnt have bars of soap (had bodywash) so they put their bars of deoderant in a sock and beat this guy, it was not an experience i'd like to relive again)*

the 1st bar scene with Leonardo DiCaprio in The Departed

*NO i did not take part in the beating!

Shawshank Redemption: When Andy Dufrane plays the opera record over the loud speaker, and all the inmates stop where they are doing, look up to the speakers, and listen. They are mesmerized by the music. It is just a great scene.

SPOILER IF YOU'RE LAME ENOUGH TO HAVE NEVER SEEN SE7ENlaugh

the scene in the police cruiser when Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman are escorting Kevin Spacey to the "last bodies", and Pitt keeps antagonizing Spacey is great! you get to see what is really behind John Doe, his motivations to commit the murders and his views on humaity. the ultimate misenthrope

THE LAST SAMURAI:

When The Samurai charge ahead, knowing they will die, but knowing that dieing with courage, honor, and fighting for what they believe in....the way it's done is awesome.

I'm not usually a fan of extended fight scenes but the battles in the LOTR movies kept me glued to the TV. I'm going to have to watch those again very soon. I've already seen them twice.

From one of my favorite movies. This scene is about a man who did everything in his power not to fight but was finally pushed to take a stand. There comes a time when just gotta kick some a$$.

Link your favorite movie scene or tell us about it.

And, of course, the post that I started this thread with because I can never watch this too many times...
