Hard to pick a favorite scene but this is probably as close as I can get. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOdARZ3bs0k&feature=fvw You can't get a scene much better than that |

Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. From V for Vendetta Scene where Eve meets V for the first time. |

There is a scene in Gory where Denzel Washington is accused of desertion from the Union Army. His punishment is to be whipped, he never says a word in the scene, but when they pull off his shirt, the scars on his back tell of his days as a slave when he was subjected to the same sort of brutality.
His eyes say everything that needs to be said. The “meet the new boss, same as the old boss” look on his face is a hell of a powerful statement. This moment has stayed with me for a very long time and is one of my favorite scenes in what I think is a much underappreciated movie. |

Fellowship Of The Ring: The scene where Gandolf dies (or we are lead to believe he does) while facing Shadow. And then all the faces of the one's remaining in the Fellowship. The music is haunting, and the actor's faces just depict the sadness, disbelief of what has just happened. Truly is a great scene.

I liked it when Boromir died defending the hobbits...love that fight to the bitter end stuff. Also liked it when Aragorn shows up right after that and takes on the big troll/goblin dude.

How about KPax, when Kevin Spacey starts wolfing down Jeff Bridges fruit--including a banana with the peeling on--and he says, "Your produce alone was worth the trip."
