So the next time I visit my sister in Arlington, I'll let you know and we can meet! 
Sounds like a plan to me.........I'm always game to meet anyone that comes through the area.....  
My sister has a house on Lake Granberry so I will let you know when I come down. Uusally sometime in the summer!
Kewl Linda lives in Granbury it's about 35 minutes from me not far at all.

Kristi is a hostess with the mostest-what can I say? We had such a great time. I will post some more pictures if I can figure out how to do it.
It is great to meet people you feel like you've know for years-since that's how long we have been on here. I'm recovering from 2 nights of free dinner and drinks. Kristi and I got a head start on Rich Saturday while he was in meetings. Who knew that elevators could make you feel woozy. 
I would definately do it again. I can tell you that I thought Rich had an accent. That was until I met Kristi. I sounded very northern by comparison. And only in Texas does Santa wear a cowboy hat. 
Shshshshsh I ain't got noooooooooooo accent hehehehe

I acquired the understanding the longer I watched. Heck, I bet half the people on there in 1980 have passed away by now. Now how about some biscuits and tea. If I found a job there Bonnie, you might know me for a couple years because I would move just like that!!

I still find the accent amusing, it has been toned down somewhat for the export market. People oop north speak with a much broader accent than the one portrayed in Coronation Street. You are correct, most of the stalwarts have passed away. Last week we say the passing of Maggie Smith (Blanche) Diedre's mum. Of course Elsie Tanner, Albert Tatlock, Minnie Caldwell and many more are no longer with us. I'm not sure if you watch Keeping Up Appearances and have seen Eddie Yates (the bin man in Corrie) now plays the character Unslow. |
