Truely believe in this little quote...In that if someone wants to leave the relationship they are going leave anyway...so I they truely do love you this will not happen anyway...If the relationship is on the rocks..then communication needs to happen about this before someone gets hurt

It is so true!
The pesky prob is that 'life really is what happens when you're busy makin' other plans' ... ! ... The guy that I let go of, we mutually STILL love each other madly after 19 years, but we both made lives otherwise ... ... An ocean between us turned out to be too far! So, they can sometimes return in spirit, yet are unable to physically manifest such a 'return' ... Time and water under the bridge; beneath still waters the love runs DEEP! Careful ...

I don't believe that.
I want someone to want me...and if that person lets me go...then why would i go back? you let me go....it tells me that I'm not significant in your life. of course you don't want to go to the extreme and be a stalker...but if you love someone you hold onto them. you don't just let em go..you try to get them to understand you want them...need them...If they chose to leave and you do nothing to influence them to stay then that particular saying is a copout for the person doing the "letting go". |
