Looking down on the ground
traumatized by the sight of a once vibrant and precious entity now brutalized, viciously slaughtered beyond recognition~ and I weep while I helplessly watch as my hard earned Trust lies dying at my feet … awh@2009 |

That is such a sad poem, MsWizard. It sounds like someone close really betrayed you (something that happens to all of us at one time or another, I think). I hope that by writing down your feelings you'll now be able to move forward and let the past go. That person - or persons - were not meant to be in your life - otherwise they would be! Hang in there.

Of this distilled liquor dost thou drink,
A cold and drowsy humour in the veins, No pulse no warmth no breath stirs in the breast, The rouge of violet tincture on your cheek tells lies. Dishonezt ashes, For underneath this pale vanilla death, Trust sleeps, Awaiting full warm virtuous lips. |
