If the Hitler and the Nazi Party had bought the largest News Media Station in America prior to WWII would you be so generous expressing your freedom?

Yes because I would have freedom to do so...

Who cares if it is ONE of the largest news stations....CNN is the Other...so again yes I'd express my freedom because I have a RIGHT to my freedom that those who have gone before me have given me.

CNN has been dropping in ratings. They are starting to turn on the savior. Guess he don't pay enough or they quit believing him telling them the checks in th' mail.

I don't think it's all that big a deal

I remember Howdy Doody pushing Ovaltine

Howard Stern pushing Snapple

so Beck is pushing gold

but I DO think its too late to cash in on the gold rush

the stuff is up to like $1100 a oz?

crap

cocaine is cheaper

I don't think it's too late for long term investors. Everything the FED and the government have been doing lately are (historically speaking) inflationary, which means that gold and other precious metals/commodities will continue to add value as the dollar sheds value. JMHO.

Esp. when you run around talking about freedom to defend his ownership.
How anyone can take the possible ramifications so dis-serious as to make a comparison to chocolate ice cream is profound in it's short sightedness.

It's dangerous to the very freedoms you claim to defend.

So is passing a healthcare bill that is over 1,000 pages long and has many many 'additions' that they are not showing you publicly...as an example the government would be allowed to withdraw real-time from you bank account to pay for medical expenses...

That's the freedom I wanthuh

This question applies here as well as in the other thread that looks like it died.

To the oposter
Think about it.
This is just an observation.
In one breath, you want Beck hangin' high for pushing his gold deal, which is a victimless crime. If indeed it is a crime.

In your next breath, you applaud Obummer for wanting to reward up to 20 million Illegals who have been committing crimes, including Federal Felonies, against American and Legal Workers. Many victims.

Who now, is this the " walking contradiction" you speak of??

Beck is just a pawn. A fool.

I swore I wouldn't waste my words talking to some on here, but I have to say this.
COMPREHENSION is key!

Well since you have so much to say and believe the news stations is the best place to do it...I have a suggestion start your own news station that way you can let the American people know exactly what you believe they should be doing...but wait after you get on air I'm starting a petition against you to block whatever you have to say as a farse...because I guess that is the freedom which you want.

The only reason many on here defend FOX News is because they are your only source of confirmation to the Republican Propaganda you've fallen for outside of one of their blogs.

Just think had just one Nazi radio station broadcasted across the south during WWII.

Those who defend Murdoch's ownership of FOX are living proof that what I say is the truth.
At least look at the mans background in other countries, and then think outside the propaganda.

I'm not defending fox news...what I do defend is the choice for one to choose a news a station. As I said earlier if Fox news was the ONLY source of news then I'd agree with you...but it's not...so what I defend is not Fox but the freedom to choose what you want to watch.

Personally I think we need to get rid of the Repubican/democratic parties all together...

Humans are 'click' people belong to one or the other and accepting ALL the beliefs of the party...It's gotten to the point where i look at is as a gang-war mentality

What we need to do is stand UNITED as nation(which we are not at present) and defend one thing...are right to be different and free

Publicly funded elections where one doesn't mention what party they belong to, but just tell you what their policies are people vote for them specifically on their policies alone....Both canidates(I would actually want to be able to choose from more that two) would have the same amount of air-time to be heard. Let the American public's votes count..popular votes that is not this electoral crap. But that's jmo maybe it would give someone who actually gives a crap, that wasn't priviledged with a silver spoon, and Havard education but who is an effective leader a chance...someone who understands the concept of hard-work and money management and even general economics...but again that's jmo

Not that young, and not really that carefree. I care a great deal, one of the reasons I chose to join the Military. I understand full heartedly the amount medical bills can be(I lived with my mom in a school bus with six kids because of such)It helped me to grow up and understand the concept of money quite well actually. I was the second kid in my family to complete highschool and get my A.A degree because I fought for both. I do agree to a point that the government should help with medical bills...but the government already has a medical program..Medicare which is going bankrupt...but the government insist they know what they are doing. One of my neighbors is a senior and has been relying on Medicare for prescriptions which use to cost her $50 dollars last time she went in to pick them up they wanted $580 because the government chose to cut back on the program.

So their track record isn't really that good when it comes to handling money, or medical. I wouldn't invest in company that continues to show a bad track record...it would be unwise

I hear that!
I'm unaffiiated myself.
I am on an active mission of purpose.
One step at a time.
First step- weaken or eliminate the Republican Party from being a major political Party in American politics.

This may be true to a point. But I live in California right now and most people that live here aren't actually from here...I don't think everyone would vote that way. I thought for sure, being that is is California that the right to gay marriage would be automatic in Cali...but it wasn't. It surprised me and I'm sure even votes for the president would be in the same situation...or even if they do keep the electoral college Each state has the same number of Electoral votes to be counted and they have to go with the popular vote for that state...but again that's my opinion
