Topic: A very kind gesture.... | |
---|---|
The other day when I came home from work I ended up chit chatting with a neighbor. He's an elderly gentlemen, a very nice, professor type... In our conversation we discussed 9/11 and I mentioned that at one time I had had a NYPD hat from ground zero and it was stolen out of my car by a valet. It was something that meant a lot to me and had bummed me out a bit....
The next morning I went to my car and as I was preparing to back out I noticed an NYPD hat on my window... It made me misty eyed.. Such a kind gesture for him to try to replace something the was very special to me... I continue to stand by my belief that "most" people are truly kind, caring and compassionate... |

Mys, you do desert darlin'... I think Up's right a gift basket, that way if he's married he can share it with his wife or children if they are at home... Cooking could be a mistake b/c if I brought over too little and there were more people that'd be bad.. I don't even know which apt he's in, I'll have to find out from the front office... |

When asked by a reporter something like :"What, in your opinion is the most important question facing humanity today?" Einstein thought for a bit then replied, "I think the most important question facing humanity is, 'Is the universe a friendly place?
Well you got your answer...... |

You might want to put something in your local paper. As your thank you...so others may see there is goodness, in our lives around us.
