Does making potato filling count ?? for fudge? |

When I first started cooking..fudge was the hardest thing for me to make...you'd have to eat it with a spoon...good, but never 'hardened'. I'd say 'who cares? Kit or homemade? As long as it's fudge...good for you!! Hey Vivian, use the receipe on the back of the marshmellow creme jar.. turns out good all the time! You're right..it's one of my old standbys...but I don't really like the marshmallow creme anymore, prefer to make it without it for the holidays...but the grandkids....they have to have the marshmallow creme when they make it! |

I made my first batch of fudge the other day. I used a 'fudge kit'. so my question is....does making fudge from a 'kit' count as MAKING it yourself ? Never knew they had a fudge kit! Now, I think even I could do that! I have lots of fudge recipes..but they never seem to firm up. I would love a great recipe for maple walnut fudge because that is my favorite. I have never even seen a recipe out there for maple walnut fudge. sigh. Back to the issue: wooohoooooooooooo fudge! who cares if it is from a kit??? |

A lady who was 50yo in 1950 would say about this thread if she were able to read and participate here? Just wondering |
