without quoting scripture or the bible, ++ I am serious>, ty ted No, no more than anyone here can prove to you a Christopher Columbus or a MichaelAngelo, the work lives on but WHO really did it can never be proven. There are writings, but we cant PROVE who wrote them as we were not there. We can only go by what is documented and our faith that it is accurate. Christopher Columbus and MichaelAngelo were humans and there is no dispute if humans existed the debate is about providing proof of an existence of a God also some claim that what is documented in the bible consist of metaphors and parables and claiming faith can not make a metaphor or a parable accurate this is why the thread asks for proof beyond the bible...clearly if God is supposedly omnipresent this task should be simple humans exist, the question was about whether a SPECIFICALLY named person existed and whether their specific existence can be proven. Some force existed that created the earth and life, the SPECIFIC source or name for that source can , likewise, not be PROVEN by anyone on this thread either. We believe the documents and the theories of our choice. in others words you have no proof of the existence of a God beyond what you read in the bible Exactly, no more than I have personal proof Christopher Columbus existed beyond what I read in a history book. |

I have faith which supercedes some standard of IRREFUTABLE proof. I know he exists without needing a tangible standard of evidence. He is in my heart because of the blessings in my life and in this world that I attribute to his grace. I cannot prove him to YOU because you request physical proof of some sort, but he has more than proven himself to ME because I do not require the standard of 'proof' that you do. |

I find the faith in someone so young to be refreshing,,what church were you a part of that gave you such a foundation and is your faith common amongst young people where you live? |

Cowboy, were you raised in a specific denomination or church? I find the faith in someone so young to be refreshing,,what church were you a part of that gave you such a foundation and is your faith common amongst young people where you live? I do not claim to one denomination. I believe denominations are an abomination to God and the works of the Devil keeping us from uniting all together. And no most people round my age are into drinking, drugs, sex, ect. |

God doesn't speak in words, he speaks in actions and feelings. You pray that God helps you through a problem in your life and he does is in a way saying here you go child have no fear i'm making sure everything is alright.
