Myss you know what I miss the smell of my dads butane lighter on long trips. everytime he would light up...not the smoking but the smell of butane lighters

You know us "non breeders". We can't relate.

Either it's a pet or something else. It never occurs to us someone is referring to a child.

what do you do for fun, you dont swim in the ocean, dont eat, dont breed, dont swallow?

I miss my dad's tobacco pipe.

I was in a ....sheesh, whatdya call those shops where ya bring stuff in ???

Well, anyways, I was in one the other wknd and I saw a triple pipe holder made out of wood, just like my dad had at home when we were a complete family.Immediately took me back to being a kid and smelling his pipe in the livingroom, sitting in his recliner and feet up on ottoman(which he STILL has).

So of course, I did what any kid would do, I bought 2 of them.One the same as his was and another diff one made out of teak, the good wood.

Have it on my coffee table.Now I just need some tobacco and my dad to visit.And Ill be a kid yet again.

I smoke my grandpa's pipe every christmas morning so my daughter finds it and thinks santa smoked it. I use cherry, it makes the entire house smell like christmas when i was a kid.

I love the shooting range!

I practice breeding!

I love hiking and ATV riding!

I love the ocean!

I do swallow! (we are still talking about water, right)

I love that smell.

I actually tried one cigar long time ago, the kind made for girls.LOL

Was cherry flavored, tasted kinda good.

That and my amaretto and a cold night would be a perfect night alone.

Do you guys have any holiday traditions you carry on from when you were kids ???

I have always done the cookie decorating, the huge tree and loads of presents.. I rarely eat cookies but every Christmas Eve I've left bites in one and put the others back and drank the milk so they'd think Santa was there.. Of course I don't have to do it now but I still do at least set out the plate and mug set... I'm a dork, I know...

Alas, I haven't celebrated any holiday since my parents passed in 2003.

I visit my friends and go to parties but I don't decorate my home or anything.

I wish I could get the spirit back but it's not the same. I am literally the last Mohican -- no more blood relatives.

I crave the day I meet “my guy” so we can start our own, along with some of our childhood traditions.

That sounds like fun !!!!


Wish I was gonna have a kid around this Xmas, just not the same without them ya know.Even if they arent mine, my neices and nephew or my friends lyl boy and girl.Just kids.


To see the excitement in their eyes melts me.


I gotta put my lyl table top tree up tomorrow I think.Try to keep me in a good mood ya know.Gonna be a rough one this yr.Had no energy today to do anything really.

We used to open a present or two the night before as a preview of the next days craziness.Can u imagine 6 kids opening presents and the mess it made ??!!
