I guess this is a good group of people to share a whine with. I have
belonged to three sites like this one. They are good places to build
character and learn how to take abuse. I came here looking for a better
quality "someone" than I meet every day. But that isn't going to happen
because no one here will know the warmth of my smile or the kindness in
my voice. I rarely if ever meet a person that I don't make a good first
impression on. I could probably walk out the door right now to find a
new pleasant woman in less than a hours who would be happy to go out
with me. But on these sites it's barracuda time. You'd think I was a
leper with a hunchback or a drooling troll sitting on a park bench like
Aqualung. At least this place has decent conversation on the forum.

Absolutely, do hang in there. As for online sites, I don't use them for
anything but a place to have fun and maybe meet new penpals if I'm lucky
enough to find others who like to write as much as I do, (this site has
been a gold mine in that respect). Of course I don't do offline dating
either, it's hard to meet new people when you're really shy.

Make that less than a few hours, that must be my big flaw, I don't
proofread.

You definately don't want to be saying that in that quiet that comes
