I realize saying Merry Christmas, or Happy Hanukkah, or Happy Kwanzaa amy be offensive to some but Best Buy now that they say Happy Holiday's believes it's ok to single out a Muslim holiday, Eid Al-Adha.

Should this not be a part of "Happy Holidays" or is it special because we don't want to offend Muslims? Eid Al-Adha http://islam.about.com/od/hajj/a/adha.htm Here is an article about Best Buy's Thanksgiving add. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/11/25/best-buy-flyers-muslim-ho_n_369583.html |

I have no problem if someone says Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, Merry Christmas, Happy Winter Solstice & Merry Yule or Season's Greetings. To me these are well wishes.

If it wasn't for my family get togethers and tradition for the family, I wouldn't celebrate it myself. But even if I don't celebrate it, I wouldn't be upset for someone to say well wishes to me |

Well, I say Happy Holidays because they are so close together, but anything is fine really...probably not gonna say Eid-Al Adha since I can't pronounce it |

I say Happy Holidays when it's around Thanksgiving. When it gets closer to Christmas I say Christmas. I'm not offended if someone says something else by my reply is always Merry Christmas.

If people do not know your religion it is extremely rude to say to you happy Christmas . Christmas is a Christian celebration and has nothing to do with Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism....etc .

Even happy holidays is offensive because not all people believe in Jesus . More people in this planet are not Christians . |

ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm we say....Merry Christmas... hehehe Say it to Christians like you : there are more non Christians in this world than Christians . I think people are too sensitive on this. If someone wishes me well according to their beliefs, the point is that they are wishing me well, not what their beliefs are. I dont see a reason in the world to be offended if a jewish person tells me HAPPY HANUKKAH, just because I do not share their religious beliefs,,the operative word is HAPPY. |

not everyone celebrates anything at this time of year, so saying any well wishes could be offensive to some. Personally I would rather have some give me well wishes in whatever they believe. I take it in the manner it is given. I'm Christian, but I don't celebrate Christmas as a religious holiday because of my beliefs. I do celebrate it as tradition and for the family though. To me it is a day to get everyone together and enjoy. If it weren't for family get togethers, I wouldn't celebrate it at all.
