Depends on what type of person you are. Do you tend to have crushes, if
so ride it out, see how it plays out.

Being strongly attracted to somebody and actually loving them, I'm
thinkin' are two different things. Another thing, love has several
definitions, I don't know about you, but somebody with a similar
definition of love to yours may very well be a key ingredient.

meet him first, then decide if u feel the same once u get to know him.

no he lives in texas and idk what im really gonna do yet b/c i have to
move out there in july for collage and ehhh idk

the truth is u can only really get to know a someone in person and it
takes time..i've seen people meet on line, only met 3, 4,5 times in
person, then end up getting in a relationship, but in time it doesnt
work out, especially long distance ones..it really takes a good 6
months or so to get to know someone..

IMHO you can fall in lust rather quickly, (like at first sight or first
e mail or first phone call even), but it takes time to build a solid
love relationship. Still, a mutual attraction is always a good start.
Just take it slow and have fun. :)

yea i know my ex and i broke up and a year ago he was killed in iraq and
i didnt think i could ever love anyone again so this is y im scared to
try dating again like my ex and i were planing on getting married well
he was in iraq and we were still together and then he came home and
didnt want to be with me anymore so we were really good friends we were
working on getting back together and i got a call that he was killed in
a road side bombing so i didnt think i could ever feel this way
again

you are young, so relax, take the oppurtunity that youth has given you
and take your time getting to know someone. But as far as being
"in-love" with someone you never have met? I highly don't think you can!
I mean you love God, but you also feel his presence, with someone, you
don't feel nothing actually, just strong emos! sorry, but you have an
advantage that most don't and thst is your youth.

I am really sorry to hear about your ex. That must be very difficult to
deal with, but you are obviously a strong and intelligent young woman
and will find the right guy, just take your time and things will happen
when they're meant to happen, IMHO everything happens in its rightful
