Topic: Come on In - part 84 | |

Oh no!!...and he will be wide away and ready to play for awhile when its almost time for mom to go to bed...Fed him and maybe after a bit he will go back to sleep.

Oh yes! He's happy and I gave him some juice with his tylenol in it. I'll see if he wants anything to eat, he's probably hungry by now.
I bet he is since he has not had anything since he had lunch. I hope he drinks all of his juice with his tylenol in it. It will make him feel better. Can you tell if he is still running any fever?
He drank that entire cup, so he had 2 tsp of tylenol cough/cold/fever. He doesn't feel hot, just the slightest bit warm so he's fine. Just the cough every now and then.

That is really good news Nicole!..I'm so glad!!..I know you feel better about that. Now you get his Rx tomorrow that will even make him feel better. He will be feeling himself in no time at all.

The bad part is that now I cannot get the prescription until after work tomorrow. We are heading to the office, thats if he feels ok in the morning, and I don't have time to get the meds before going in.
Thats a bummer. Can you go at lunch and get them?
Nah the pharmacy is the wrong direction. I am going to NJ for work, which is an hour and a half south of my house and the pharmacy is 20 minutes north of my house.
Oh...nope I agree. Nope can't go at lunch then. You drive an hour and a half one way when you go to the office to work?
With traffic, yep. Its 50 minutes without traffic, not too bad. I just read the tylenol bottle, its NOT non drowsy, so hopefully it'll make him sleepy soon!
....did he eat anything? Hopefully it will so he will let you have a good night sleep tonight. I hope he will for his sake so he will feel better tomorrow too.
Nah, he didn't eat anything, I gave him some animal crackers, but he just dumped them on the floor, drank his juice and crawled up in bed to watch Elmo.
Well at least you tried. Hopefully he will lay down and watch Elmo and fall fast asleep. If he does you better lay down fast and get some sleep too...
Yepper, he is laying down, but not sleeping. The meds will take a bit to kick in. Oh I am gonna sprint to bed once he is asleep. Oh my, he's sitting up again. He's making me dizzy.
Up and down..up and down!!... ...you better be ready girl soon as he is out of it...you better run fast!!!..
Thankfully my bed is right behind me. I have a futon I sleep on in the living room. We rent a small 1 bedroom apt and he has the bedroom. He needs his own space. So my bed isn't far away.
That is good. So when he goes to sleep all you have to do is just turn around and hop in your bed!!...be ready!!!...
I am ready, just need to put his bag together for tomorrow and I am all done for the night.
That won't take long will it? Or will it?

Nah, the diapers and wipes are already in the bag from today, just need to put some spare clothes in there and his snacks for tomorrow.
Man, I hate to see the landlord's water bill next time around. My toilet is running non-stop, he's checked it twice and doesn't know whats wrong, so he hasn't fixed it. It looks like you could surf in the toilet the water is rippling that bad. |
