Sorry, phone!..it was my sister. Is Christopher acting like he is feeling any better this evening and did you get to go and get his RX? He has been sleeping pretty much since we got home. He ate lunch and has been sound asleep ever since. I changed him once already and he went right back to sleep. I am gonna let him get his rest and get the prescription filled tomorrow. |

Me too. He ate lunch which is good, and was very happy to get home and eat. We went and got his chicken nuggets and he was tapping the bag the whole way home. Ate everything and then snuggled up in bed and out he went. |

He hasn't been sleeping well for the last week or so. His sleeping over the weekend was horrible so I think that didn't help him that he was so overtired.

It probably did not. Just made him feel that that much worse. Now with the fever he is sleeping more. After he starts taking the meds i'm sure he'll be back to himself in notime.

I put a full dose of the tylenol in his juice cup but he only drank about 1/2 of it so I can't imagine he got much but he got tylenol this morning as well. He has only woke up coughing 3 times which is a huge improvement from the last couple nights.

That is good. That's a good way to give it to him in a juice or something that you know he will drink. He prolly just didn't feel like drinking it all. Can you tell if mayb his throat is sore or did the dr. say anything about it being red?

She did look in his mouth, and didn't say anything. He probably wouldn't have been so happy for lunch if his throat hurt. He refuses to take any meds, so to keep peace and to get something in him, I either request liquid I can put in his juice or tablets I can crush and put in applesauce or yogurt.

Anyway you can get him to take the meds no matter if it liquid or tablets it don't matter. I used to have to do the same thing till my son was older. He would not take it. I had to disguise it too. I think some kids are jus that way. Alot of if taste nasty..YUCK!!!..

Oh these meds are nasty, even the grape and cherry flavored ones. Its no wonder kids don't want to take anything.

Yep...I used to taste of everything before I would give it to Michael to see if I had to hide it in anything and 99% of the time I would..So they haven't change it yet. You would think they could make it better as time went by.

You'd think, but I guess to them just having flavor is okay. But the flavor is way off and it has that bite/sting and the medicine flavor comes through.

Yes it does..and its really really yucky!!..I don't even like to take the liquid couch meds when the dr. tells me to take it. He says hold your nose..it don't do any good!...its still YUCKY!!!..

I have it on a cd my son bought for me...I love it!..I pull it out and watch it from time to time. I just crack up laughing. It has 3 of her best episodes on it. That one is just about one of my favorite ones...I LOVE LUCY!!!...Lucy was my nickname growing up!!..
