know them IF they let you!!
I did meet someone from here and things went really good. We talked for
months so things were very relaxed!! We asked everything we wanted to
know, from how many family members do you have to what kind of job do
you have. We asked about each others children, if we wanted more
children....anything that was interesting to us, nothing was off limits.
If someone asked something to personal, then the other one said..hey
thats way to personal...but that never happened because we had a respect
issue.
I think if you talk a while before you meet then you feel much more
comfortable. According to my cell phone bill, we talked around 8000
minutes a month...so yep we should have been comfy with each
other

You are completely right...like I said, no one knows anything
about someone UNLESS they want them to know it!!!

One question to ask is what happened in the last relationship....if he
says she was a ***** etc then I know that I will be the "next"
*****....etc etc....I know this from experience.

here's a good old wives tale " come live with me and come stay with me
are two separate issues" A first meeting for the most part can be
exciting, visiting that person for a short period of time can also be a
nice experience, however, a long term stay with me situation may make or
break the relationship.

So true. Live in relationships will tell you a lot about a potential

I think a good question to ask is: " Is there anything that i need to
know that could become a problem later in our relationship? I am one
who likes to know if there be any drama or any personal problems that
happen in your past because then i know how to approach the situation
when it arises.

talked with someone for over a year even sent like holiday presents to
her and her son -- finally decided to go and see her at her request for
an easter break --- cost me 1300.00 to fly and stay at a hotel one day
after i was there --- we were all suposed to go out to a easter brunch
and she called me and said that she couldnt handle it casue it had been
a couple years since i was stuck in a hotel in the middle of nowhere for
three days --- till i got another flight out --- it jaded me on meeting
others far away ---

as i have stated before in another post somewhere --- i know its hard
when you get a few guys who as you call are players and it makes it
harder for the guys who are genuine --- i ve read through some of the
past topics --- but there are some decent guys as well as some women who
like to play --- it goes both ways --- sorry just ranting
