when something had you really upset (save the loss of a loved one), does it really matter to you now?

no it doesn't i don't live in the pass, just move forward.

i can go even further back, and it does matter...these experiences made me who i am today...do i dwell on them...not really...

You should learn from the past, just not live in it. you can not change anything that happened.

No, depending on what it was I just forgave and forgot. Thats how most things have to be handled, you know?

It doesn't matter now but I am sure glad it happened.....it made me who I am today.

Nothing matters to me now

Nope if it happened last month it is done and over with.
Learned long time ago it does no good to carry the hurt into the future best learn from it and move on... |

Yea the things that mattered to me enough to be upset would still matter to me now but living in the past is robbing you not only of the present but also the future.

Whatever happened 5 years ago seems all lost to me. Besides turning 21, I don't remember a thing.

Thanks to medical marijuana....i cant.
just kidding. |

The past is just that. The past. No point dwelling on something that you cannot change. Live today and with the things that you can change.

when something had you really upset (save the loss of a loved one), does it really matter to you now? My life is a blackboard. It is marked by actions and events...words and thoughts. Most are good...some less so. But I don't choose to go back an erase anything...selectively disavowing what has contributed to me being me...for better or worse. Very few people I've ever known live in the past...almost a cliche. I try to live it as simple as possible...always keep an open mind. Never fret about things that might or could happen. And when things do happen...learn from them. Correct mistakes and flaws...we all have them. Learn and practice tolerance. Wisdom doesn't come automatically at any age...I am still trying to apply my knowledge, understanding, experience, discipline, discretion and intuitive nature to my own problems and issues, and I hope the problems of others about whom I care. |

Sure I still think about things that have happened, but I make sure it doesn't happen again. It may hurt a tad, but it isn't something I would have a hang up on. Live and learn.
