I love going to the bar and meeting new people regardless of whether or not it goes anywhere, but i notice a lot of women are withdrawn and not interested in talking(usually with a bf or i don't fit their bill). Im not always looking to "get laid" i just wanna chat, but bar hopping for me has turned into guys night out kicking back drinking a few, talkin trash to fellow sports fans, complaining bout college and shooting the ****. Is it like this for you guys? Girls, whats the deal? of course it may just be me sending wrong signals. thoughts?

Try the coffee bar or a cafe type situation if you're looking for possible girlfriends. No alcohol tends to help avoid the idea of a quick hook up and they tend to be quieter to actually facilitate the concept of chatting
