  Hey Christy think I'm resting up this weekend to busy for the last 2 weeks. Get the grandkids today and people are coming over for cards tomorrow  I'm staying home there coming to me

Yeah I picked up Kaitlynn yesterday from school and she spent the night with me they are suppose to come get her in a little while. Then back to working on my bathroom just finished painting it and have to finish putting it all together. Been having hell with it put in a new sink and it was leaking my son decided to fix it and well he fixed the leak I could not stop but then broke another part.
 Shshsh it never ends.. Plus the toilet is leaking between the bowl and the main part so have to take it apart and put in new seals today as well......  Just fun fun fun I will be glad once I get it all done.......

Don't forget to replace the two rubber washers on the two brass bolts that hold the tank to the bowl.

Thank you yeah was going to get the kit that has all the washers in it so they would all be new,,,,

Thank you yeah was going to get the kit that has all the washers in it so they would all be new,,,, And the big main rubber seal between the tank and bowl comes in two sizes so you might want to take the old one with you. Oddly, that is what I did today. |

I just got a "moving report". Galendgirl (Glenda) has made it Fredericksburg and is (with my sister's help) heading off to the Alamo Springs Cafe for Texas' best burger! This "burger" was like a completely different food group of delicious...but to call it a burger is almost a misnomer. Amazingly delicious and metalwing's sister is a hoot! We had a wonderful time!!! I've been well and truly welcomed in Texas!

All hail to Texas and being one of you!
I've got my "first choice" job offer in hand and have eaten my share of yummy Houston food already... (BTW, Quietman - I noticed your area of this "Best BBQ in Texas" Google Map is kinda shy of thumbtacks, so if you WANT to come visit sometime in order to eat good BBQ, feel free!  JK! LOL!)  Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming! It's awesome! I DO have a really, really good story to tell about a "first time ever" event from today, though! I went to the PO to handle some business there and witnessed some people handling/shipping 9 cardboard crates full of live roosters (yep, they were sounding off loudly!) I could tell by the expression on LOTS of other people's faces that this was not the routine thing for them to see either...but regardless, it was a humorous and special sight to behold on a Thursday! Gotta love it! |
