Fear.

Stop. In the name of love!

No, srsly, you are awesome and I think your view on love is pretty much the closest thing to logic I've heard in a long time. You know what you know and there shouldn't be any need for you to change your ideals.

Sometimes I think the whole world is way to consumed with romantic ideals and some are even totally delusional about it.

I know I'm awesome. I ask myself everyday "am I awesome?" and everyday the answer is "yes, yes you are.". I'm just trying to find someone that has a suitable debate to counter the logic and math that goes hand in hand with what I think about love, main reason I posted this was to find someone who can counter my view of a logic flaw within love itself.

All I ever hear is how awesome love is, this and that, spin around and rerun the whole show. Start back at point A and the same argument spins around, love is awesome. Why? What makes love so awesome? What physical or mental trait about love makes people time and time again sit it on a pedestal so high above themselves...what is that? And why is it so high?

And further, why is the logical and mathmatical debate that it simply doesn't exist for the majority of people so hard to grasp? And...what is the counter argument?

Oh, by the way...have I mentioned how awesome I am...I'm just bubbling with awesomeness, that is how damn awesome I am.smokin

You are awesome and no one can top ya! But srsly, you know I can't argue love like some.

Way I see it, love is awesome because you both make it awesome. You both make this unconscious choice to make each other feel awesome. Like some sort of love static electricity. You both get charged kinda.

And remember, you're not the only awesomeness around here

My two cents...

Love exists. Whether you choose to participate is a personal choice. I personally don't think I'm programmed for it so I completely understand your outlook. I love myself, I love my family, I love my friends but I don't think I'll ever be in a loving relationship with one man for the rest of my life. Does this mean it doesn't exist? No, it's just not for me. I'm meant to walk alone. Most aren't and want "LOVE".

As for the argument of whether it exists, I say yes, it must. If you believe in hate, you must also believe in love. You can't have one without the other, can't know good without bad, can't know the concept of wealth without the concept of poverty. With this logic in hand, my argument is that you can't deny hate exists...you see it clearly everyday unfortunately in our society. Therefore, if people hate, than conversely people must love. Will it happen to you, Fear, or me? Probably not, because we're closed off to it. But to deny it's existence seems illogical unless you also deny hate's existence, something I just can't do based on my life experiences.

So there's my argument, though not sure it's what you were hoping for.

And if one doesn't believe in hate? Both are invalid responses to an unknown activity or action. Hate only breeds more hate, which is nullified in its own process. Hate is really just as stupid as love...

If hate breeds more hate, which I happen to agree with you on, then wouldn't it be exponentially compounded, not nullified? I agree with you also that both are stupid, which happens to validate their existence. They must exist to be stupid. You can't deny their is love and hate in this world, it's just a matter of whether you as a person choose to participate in those emotions. I don't. You don't obviously. But can you honestly say love doesn't exist as a valid response to unknown actions? Life in and of itself is unknown...love and hate are as real and valid as any other emotion we experience. Love exists, it just exists to a mere minority of the population. As I cover in my equation that you have about a 6 in a million chance of finding it, 6 people will find it...the other 999,994 will not. Hate exists as well, but both are equally nullified as love ends within five years for 64% of people and hate propagates more hate (this in turn nullifies hate because if hate is the only thing hate creates it is ultimately useless). Hate doesn't exist however while love does, hate is just a figment something that guides terrible decisions and lackluster responses...in essence it is an excuse, like Little Johnny has ADD or some such nonsense.

Love is a pearl, hate is pointless and just another term for self-inflicted pain. Hate is pain, love is hope...too bad for most people there is more pain than there is hope. Suffering creates love, why? I don't know, it doesn't make much sense really...this almighty good emotion created out of pain and in turn creates more pain, sounds terrible. Which in turn means that love creates hate, hope creates pain, suffering creates hope, hope is drown by reality and ultimately most people will live sad, sorry little lives.
