long story, pull up a chair....
I grew up in the chaotic environment of an alcoholic family and read everything I could get my hands on and became the characters in the book taking me away mentally. I read Huckleberry Finn and built a raft on the Susquehanna river in Pa. and spent most of my free time on the raft exploring the banks for miles and miles....ok, so it wasn't that long, but then again neither was the raft, although it seemed so at the time. |
