umm i didnt think i was comparing anything, but if your sayin that because alcohol is legal and blazing isnt yet(some states for medical) dont make drinking better for you.. so what is your point.. mine was i cant hold my liquor.. so you/whomever was probably introduced to drinking before smoking.. im just saying dont judge merely off of that or form an opinion about me based on that alone.. thats sad if you do.

there is no comparison, alcohol is without dought worse than weed in every way.

its more addictive
it causes FAR more deaths
it costs tax payers FAR more money in health care, police time accident investigators, vehicle insurance goes up every time a dui crashes

there realy is no way anyone with a modicom of educated intelligence could argue that pot is worse, or even close to as bad for individuels or socioty as alcohol

I am not going to debate the effects of either....

but plain and simple... alcohol is legal and marijuana is not.

(now whether some or both or none should be legal isn't the issue)

OP, However, if you can't drink... then there are other options that are legal to provide similar effects to smoking/drinking.

such as exerise, yoga, meditation, or even laughing.

So before you jump down someone for judging you, can you recognize that some people don't want to be involved in illegal activities?

yes alcohol does cost us more in health care but, pot has a cost as well. prisons are filled with people that can be directly related to pot use. that means court cost, police cost, housing cost the list is much longer. who do you think pays all of the associated cost? you and me, thats who.

personally i dont care which one a person does but, the law does and since we live in a society that is governed by these laws, the cost (in monetary form)is far to great to ignore...

I said "blazin" because it is illegal! I knew I should have ellaborated. I just think and this is a generalization, MOST women do not want to have to worry about their man going to jail and do not want anything illegal around them whether it be drugs, stolen property or anything that could mess with your freedom or happiness.

I personally, would not date a man who "blazes" or is an alcoholic. If he drank in moderation (social settings or whatever), I'd have no problem with that! I haven't done illegal drugs however, I drink alcohol socially and we all know it too is a drug. Had I been told that as a child, things might be different.

One of my close friend's told me there was a study done on the affects of alcohol and driving versus the affects of marijuana and driving. He said that driver who drank alcohol were much worse than the ones who smoked marijuana. ~ Has anyone else heard of this story?
