You have to be careful. Some older women tend to have this thought in the back of their mind that if you are younger then at some point you will want someone around your own age at some point.

People will make fun of just about anything,, but many people endorse and promote 'cougars' or women with younger men. I think the stigma comes because females are known as mothers and when their mate is especailly young it has the appearance of a motherly role in that mates life intstead of a true partnership. There is also the issue of things in common.
