Well I quit cold turkey be 7 years ago this January but still have dated smokers hey as long as they brush their teeth and use breath fresheners then don't have a problem with them as long as they don't blow the smoke in my face... I smoked because I liked it not just because and I quit because I wanted to not because anyone wanted me too...................

i smoked for years and quit a few time here and there, this last April right before my 30 birthday i felt done with smoking and i have not picked up on since. but i didnt turn into a health nut, and i dont care if other smoke around me, i just move so that it doesnt get in my face, and that is just cause it makes me sick every time i smell smoke now. good luck

not really a health nut...but i quit cause i dont want it around me... funny thing is even when i was still smoking and trust me i LOVED it...i had to keep my hand away so the smoke would not hit me in the face...and this is coming from a person that smokes like a chimney... |

heh krupa is fun! i just can't imgine kissig someone that smokes....and i used smoke, so i do feel like such a jerk...but...i just can't...i know, i am abum Well thought it would bother me as well it is not the kissing that gets me it is when I'm in a enclosed area that gets to me with a smoker. Other then that it does not bother me. I was up to 3 packs a day when I quit cold turkey I had a good reason my granddaughter was born with weak lungs and she lived at my house at the time. To me that was all the want I needed the health of my granddaughter verse my cigs not a hard choice to make...

You are definitely not a jerk or a bum, Hun. If you were that would make me one as well as countless other past smokers who also refuse to kiss a current smoker. I have made only one exception in that policy, and she has stated that if we were ever to kiss again she owuld brush her teeth first, in respect.

Humm huhhh as long as they are respectful with the fact that I'm a none smoker now then I can handle it. Now I will admit no one smokes in my house. But if it is their house that is their choice. Even though my son smokes and some others that I know they don't even smoke in their own homes. See that I can live with............
