Love and sex are at times two different things...and sometimes they are overlapping...as if you drew two circles that shared some common space (overlapping) and some space that was distinctly different. A healthy relationship has both...with all the physical and emotional elements present. Having one without the other is probably not nearly as satisfying or fulfilling.

2) Love is a deep emotional connection with another person. Judging from #2, you seem to have a comprehension of Platonic Love. Yet, your first assertion completely contradicts that! What kind of a cheap Love are you talking about, if it's based upon sex? ? ? Once, I've been involved in a sexless relationship -- though not without intimacy (but without "exchanging bodily fluids", as you call it) -- just a deep emotional connection with another person. Compared with some instances of sex, that's been even more satisfying!!! * * * * * * * * * * * |
