I would say I too am such a person...for the closer someone gets to me...the faster I pull away... WOW,,,,making LOVE to you,,MUST BE A REAL CHALLENGE!!!!lol <--------HE made me say that.....wink,,I just had to jump on that,,,,,sorry

You have to take things slow...remain constant in what you say and do. If you become erratic with your words and behavior, you will loose any progress you/they have made. Be consistent.

How do you break through to someone who is scared to love? If you are scared to go into a relationship because of your past experiences,is there anything a person can do to help ease your fears? Be real. Be patient. Be honest. Be kind. All of this...and still realize...you cannot change someone else.

Why would you want to love someone who does not want to love you back?... When they finally learn to love - it may not be you who is the recipient!...

I don't know how anyone will feel but when someone starts crowding me and I resist if they just drop it and let it be on my schedule it is much more likely to be quicker than if someone keeps pushing. Often if they are obnoxious about it I would just say forget it figureing everything is going to be a contest.

I would think by being patient with someone who is afraid to love...let them know your there for them.. I'm not scared to go into a relatioonship, I just choose not to..there is a difference...

I think there's a difference unless deep down inside I do have a "fear" of beig hurt thus I choose not to get involved... ok, that was a little late on the take I know..sorry
