I knew a woman years ago who kept her beloved cat {don't let Lil' Kitty hear this} in the freezer for about a year after it died and then she took it to a taxidermist. Some people just can't say, "good-bye".surprised

Actually lived next to someone (on the mainland before I was stranded on the island) who had her little dog taxidermied...it "lived" on the bed in the guest room. I always wanted to make little barking sounds when I went past that room, which probably means I am really NOT a very nice person. Either that or I just have a really sick sense of humor buried beneath my usual "appropriate" demeanor. Egads...

One more thing on the taxidermy deal...there was a woman in Puerto Rico not long ago that actually had her dear son, about 20, embalmed and standing up at a 'party" for him. Supposedly, that's what he wanted. Okay, I'm done with all that dead stuff. Where's the party/barbeque?!
Are the Hula Boys coming?

Update. I am teaching the cannibles to cook in the far reaches of the jungle. They have decided that eating each other is not as much fun as Texas BBQ and tamales. The stuffed jalapenos seem to have calmed their spirits greatly.

One giant turtle has excaped.

He's coming back and he's NOT happy with Holly's efforts to cook him!

(Glad the rest of the cooking event is going well, Metal! Have fun and bring some of the good stuff back to the island - the coconut soup is getting OLD!)

Tarzan protects us from Swamp Monsters and now he is protecting us from the cannibals. What would we do without him? I hope he makes it back for the party Sage is throwing on the beach tomorrow night! Holly are you bringing the turtle soup?
