November Night
this night of November radiant gold spreading across the horizon silhouetting lace of the branches where wind has carried away amber burnished reds leaving the crookled bent fingers to snap, I walked into the the prairie dusk hoping only to watch while it disappeared slowly this orb of light slipping away this night of November. ~Death of a Poet~
Thee dear reader come sit down with me We'll share gentle words & a cup of tea Then shall leave nothing left to guess Conclusively then it shall lay to rest Poetic words given straight from heart Wishing dearly that they may never part A headlong journey to the reader's soul Such finest purity that one may behold Never they'd slander while bearing pain By expression then such a wisdom gained Where lies the fault then if may I ask? It's the writer who bears grievous task Exposure does echo so resoundingly true No malice or intent lies waiting for U Tell me then dear why judge with haste? A truth left palette with bitter taste Realm of darkness while some shed light Others offer hope for a dreadful plight Perhaps shared grievance upon such loss A mortals acceptance with a final cost Born of fiction while others bear fact Separated context of a one whom me lack No glory obtained or a writer did gain Suicidal notions if they would refrain Perhaps by choice you've found it bleak Variations lay abundantly shall U seek A vast knowledge lining studious halls So gently open me lover,I will enthrall Open thy mind & I shall weave U a tale Glance beyond worldly for we did prevail Never look upon then with such disdain I speak of trials in hopes you may gain Written by CyPoet aka Cybear 7/8/07(copyrighted) |

Naught
In the beginning, A day hastens on, Filled with the reverie, What once was song. Into the evening Where contrast is stark, Silence now bending, That comes with the dark. Hush now my soul. I weave thee love's thought. Never to leave, Unless it was naught. For then no beginning. Light has no ray. Living has ceased, With nothing to say. Raine Les 11/1/2009 |

Raine Les 11/1/2009 {{{{{{Sadie}}}}}} ~Simplicity of Words~ Countless them words heard have left me sad And few of them likewise have left me glad The preconceived notion shall they endorse Serrated fallen victim from spiteful course Blessed are souls who provide us with hope While thieves plunder thee ability to cope Simplistic fragments a choice lying within The heart warming smile or a hideous grin Then surely,I'm compelled to ask myself why Such a soul sedates thirst by making one cry Their victory achieved when sorrow brought Is not it then wiser when happiness sought If kindness is given lending us inner peace Sadly a multitude much rather would fleece Pathetic existence by their harboured hate A change dwells & pleads it's never to late Thee heart re-kindled so that eyes now see May love and compassion reign domineeringly Pondering this dilemma so that all may see There spoken for the betterment of humanity Them choices lend wisdom,an underlying test Slaying the conception of the New Wild West Written by CyPoet aka Cybear 7/5/07{copyrighted} |

Whisper
T'was just a whisper, I sent in the night, By the wind, A quiet flight. I did not expect For someone to hear. Someone to know, Someone to care. "Just alone" Has a way, Of making the silence Darken the day. It was only a whisper With my eyes closed A wish for you. Now, you know. Raine Les 11/1/2009 |

Raine Les 11/1/2009 {{{{{{Sadie}}}}} ~A Mortal's Crossroad~ There's moments in our life every now & then Reflecting upon the places that we have been Such wonderful people fortunately we've meet There is others that we just as soon forget Some have even helped us so that we may gain Others served us sorrow & such bittered pain Then upon a victory we must certainly shout For failure is born from laid seeds of doubt Precious life is given from a Heavenly source But hearts are so bruised by moments of loss Within their lies reason for both sides I know It's said there required for us to learn & grow Our sweet memories cherished & we hold so dear Sadly some are harboured with terror and fear A heart with such compassion I surely do admire Yet so many tears are shed from words of a liar Them tenderly moments we shall gently embrace Shadowed by those whom have fallen from grace Never shall we relinquish such steadfast hope Then we would fall victim & no longer we'd cope It's wiser to awaken & express your first smile Then wallow in misery and such bittered denial So let's say a prayer for those hopefully lost Their blurred sight failing from reality tossed As I reminisce dear Lord,I will ex-haltingly say My faith never faltered,I lived for U each day This choice it lies waiting for each mortal man Upon this eternal crossroad where will U stand? A mindless perception locked in depth-less twirl 1 thought,1 step and man could change this world These are not dreamy notions just a plain fact Then we've made a difference as we look on back Proclaim this boldly as you welcome eternal rest With my love and faith Lord,I have done my best Written by CyPoet aka Cybear 6/27/07{copyrighted} |

Tis This Time
From a time I knew you then, When words were etched Scratched with pen, Dipped from a well , Contained our blood I heard you say With tears , a flood. I would not wish the pain You knew We were a distance Yet, together, true. You wrote a letter Sealed, our fate, Of love and loss A ruined hate. Tis this time I wish to tell The past is gone Our fare thee well. Raine Les 11/1/2009 |

Silence
I cannot breathe without thee, Lord. I am blind, Such disarray T'would be better To never speak Or utter some Thoughts I say. And still you feel me, Hold me. Tell me, I love you. It is just this silence. Lord This bleating quiet truth. Raine Les 11/1/2009 |

It is by unparalleled grace that breath may enter these unbefitting lungs to pour out a melody for thy beloved glory forever.Godspeed! Steven |

He heard all that I said. I thought I was far away So quiet, I thought I was dead. A question, I seldom ask Why would you come? To a stranger far away Looking for someone? I do not think you;d like her. She's different, she's been told. Not too very young Sometimes she thinks, too old. Yes, she can be very nice, Forgiving of the differences. She will look beyond, the surly vulgar inferences. She's tired a bit of being alone, like so many others. Yes, she has prayed forever It seems like such a bother. I know He sent you here. Didn't He? Don't be shy. You' have made my evening. I think that now, she'll cry. Raine Les 11/1/2009 |
