In my area, I am the 6-month body makeover! They hire me as their personal trainer! winking

I have yet to review or research this gimmick. Part of my job is dispelling fad programs. I wish I had feedback for you.

Do you have a live consultant? Unless fitness is your lifestyle, it's difficult doing this on your own.

I wish you much success and patience. Nothing happens overnight or even in 6 months. flowers

I wish you had some feedback on this program. I personally know someone that continues on this program and has lost almost 90 pounds now. She seems very happy with it and I am hoping this will help me. I have tried Atkins, Susan Powder, Richard Simmons, the Zone, Weight Watchers and many, many more. Pounds go off & come back on Plus more! I love encouragement.....My sister wants me to get gastric bypass surgery.....thanks!

I tell 'em I have the body of a 20 year old.
They told me to give it back before I wrinkled it.

I did a quick scan of the program and ideology. I did not review the caloric intake vs. fats and carbs and proteins. Beware of sugars if that is not addressed.

There is some merit to the outline. What concerns me is that you will have no supervision.

HOW you exercise is important. If you are performing the exercises incorrectly, with without enough energy, etc, then you won't notice results.

I like that real food is used and the program teaches you how to shop. Still, you need a live consultant/trainer. You should have more questions than what is in the scope of the video.

If you are doing this because it is what you want and noone else then use this 6 week thing as a jump start but it takes longer than that and it is a life time commitment. You will never be able to go back to what you do now if your goal is thinness.

That is the best I can give you from someone who isn't thin, loves myself this way, but still works to keep myself healthy even if I am not thin.

Good luck.

Eat less, exercise more. There are no quick fixes. It's a whole new lifestyle change.

I know. And I think that may be why the others failed; because "I" failed them. My doctor says that I am borderline Thyroid & Diabetes and since BOTH are a problem for most of my family; it scares me! And I'm sick of being heavy. I love myself and am happy with everything about me except my weight. So I figure it's way past time that I start working on that!!

Thanks. I think Michael Thurman says eat "better, healthier" foods (not less food) plus the amount of food has NEVER been my problem. I know you may think that is not true; but it really and truly is. I lived with a friend & his wife and she said, "I don't get it; I eat twice as much as you and I am so much thinner than you!" Frustrating as that has been for me.....I really think it is Poor eating habits and laziness in regards to preparation and lack of consistent exercise!

Read "Fit or Fat"

A book by Covert Bailey. You can find it in almost any used book store for a buck. He has a Masters Degree in Biochemistry from M.I.T.
A short volume about food, metabolism and aerobic exercise.
He is very funny, and the book explains 'how and why' your body uses calories the way it does and what the impact of regular aerobic exercise does to these processes.
