The new health bill comeing out of the senate.
And it's back up over a trillion.
Public option in.
State opt out?( WTF if your state decides toopt out, you still pay)

I heard something interesting this morning.

"If midicare is good enough for those over 65 why not extend it to those who are not insured".

State option out? What the hell is up with that? They are stepping on American's and State's toes. Sooner or later one gets tired of their toes being stepped on. They all need to be b***h slapped!

At least I can sleep at night knowing the people I voted for have nothing to do with this. Sleep well America, for one day when you wake up you won't believe what your eyes have seen. Hold on to your wallets, the snakes will slither their way right into your pocket books (purses) and wallets.

The snakes have been slithering into our wallets and purses for so long, that the wallets seem to be made of snakeskin now.

Yes, very true, it's only going to get worse but not just for us. It will affect our children and grandchildren. Pretty sad when the future of our kids is already in quagmire and they don't even know it.

Wow that is the most expensive 2000 pages I ever heard of! What are they inscribed with gold?laugh

That is truly amazing amount of pages. Will the public be allowed to read it since we are paying for it?

That is good to know. I think it is important that the people have a chance to read it also.

I don't know about you...but the chances of reading 2000 pages of legalese in about a week ( they are pushing to have a vote on it in less than a week ), and actually UNDERSTAND everything that's in it is something that the average American would never be able to pull off.

That's one of the reasons the Dems want to push for a vote so soon.

The less time people have to read and analyze the entire bill, the more they ( the Dems ) can get away with.

They have people who read these things for them and analyze them. We don't have that advantage.

The Gov. could provide Health Care without all the double and triple-speak.
Like one poster said, open medicare and medicaid to all Legal Citizens except the ones who are pro-illegal immigrant. Send those folks to Mexico.laugh

Considering the extreme inefficiency of anything our government runs....ya damn right it's frightening.

Exactly. So you, among a whole bunch of others, are all for a bill that contains things that you have no idea are even there.

Do you really think that they are going to TELL you everything that is contained in that bill?

That is utterly laughable.

Can't do that.

Mexico requires proof that the person who wants to immigrate is going to be doing a job that no other Mexican can do.

I wish we the people could have a chance to vote on it. I guess that would be too costly to do or something. Now Congress will decide and who knows how many lobbyists are involved in this health bill.

It would be nice to have the whole nation have health care privilige that everyone would be okay with, but I guess this would be too much to ask since everyone has a different idealogy of how a health care should work.

I just hate to see a country split up because of difference of opinions on this health bill.
