I think it can be quite the opposite sometimes. Or maybe a little different in that the second they feel any criticism they shut off their ears completely and just get angry.

Why another generalization thread?

Men and women are humans. They only thing different between us, is our genitals.

Both genders are capable of doing the same things mentally!

I think that applies to most human beings not just one gender.

Yes I have a comment, you're 100% incorrect in your generalization.laugh

It seems like a generalization to me. Everyone has selective hearing at times. Sometimes the intake and output of information and the way the information is absorbed and processed by an individual remains different from another individual because we all are different in the way we process and understand the information going from one individual to another. This is why when a disaster, scene of an automobile accident, or even an event.............you could ask several people the same question and get different answers and viewpoints.

look at a mans' conversation. Generally men allow other men to have their say in the conversation, they take it in turns to speak. A generalisation I know but observe anyway. Now look at a conversation with women and notice that several may be talking at the same time and somehow being aware of all the conversations going on at the same time.

Not all men are uncapable of this and not all women are capable of this. Still a generalization. You could say that men are more polite waiting their turn and women way too rude for overtalking each other. Or you could say the men have their conversations more organized than women. The situtation above could warrant more than one explanation, and to explore it completey you would need a study with variables in order to test a theory.

All it comes down to is that more women seem to be able to do multi-tasking where at times some men are not as good at multi-tasking.

Which is not unusual but even though there are many men that are just as good at it...... bigsmile

wow talk about generalization. Do you want to be categorized as a "b****y woman? I know I don't. That is a completely unfair assessment. I know some women that don't listen. There are all kinds in both sexes, sheeshslaphead
