is it possible for a heterosexual man to be satisfied with being best friends with an attractive woman without wanting anything more than that?

My three best friends ARE male....and I'm not a blip on their radar.
Why? Cause they've seen me at my very very worst and my very very best. We've been through **** together they would never want to go through with a girlfriend....ya know...crazy trips to Mexico...hookers in Montreal...getting completely plastered on the golf course... So yeah...I think it's possible. |

I have been wondering the same thing today. Have been developing a 'friendship' with this man, and it appears to be just that. But cynical me (the old NYer in me) still wonders...hmmm is he up to something? He's recently divorced and I'm not about to be his rebound and sort of told him that, but he keeps coming around.
If it is - I like it. Been wanting a local intelligent (remember where I live folks) man to do some things with that make you think or appreciate life. I have had male friends in the past yet in the long run...it turned out they wanted something then when that didn't happen we went back to being friends. Looks like I just answered my own q there. |

IMHO, they will always think about thee possibility of being more, but a true friends wont act on it. He wont want to risk the ruin of a good friendship. That doesn't mean that he isn't allowed to tease and flirt a bit...it's good for the other party's ego.

Yep. But not if he's under 30 years old. LOL I'm friends with a guy under 30 and he has no romantic interest in me at all. |
