gotta love these woe is me threads after a bad date. of course the other party is never here to tell his/her side but hey, amuzing to watch this stuff and somebody's gotta get bashed right?

What side is there to tell? He left with no explanation. I can't imagine what he could possibly say to defend himself. And I haven't seen any bashing, she was telling her story, and I think she was pretty nice about it, if it had been me, I wouldn't have been so kind.

You do have a point Atlantis. We don't know the other half of the story. I was just wondering what she meant by when she came back he was gone. Does that mean he did not go on the dog walk? I hope he wasn't allowed to stay in her house while she went alone?
If they both went and then he just walked off, that is odd. And rude.

I went in to my home to get the dog and he was gone if he wasn't interested he could said no match and good bye ...which is fine by me just odd ...

I don't get it, either. He said, let's take your dog for a walk? And when you, all by yourself alone, got back, he was gone? You mean, you left him in your house when you took doggie for walkie? Have you checked your safe? Your beer in the fridge?

I mean... maybe he just got tired waiting for you to come back with the dog. Imagine: He's waiting in your home, while you are having fun with the dog. He can't touch anything, he's not in the mood to call his mother, he is sitting in a chair and occasionally looking at his watch. He is so franking bored that it's unimaginable. Then he realizes that he could watch the game or else that it's good time to go home and wash his goldfishes, so that's what he does.

I don't know why you got so surprised that you did not find him when you returned with the dog. He ain't rude; you ought not left him there alone, with nothing to do but twiddle his thumbs.

Look at it this way the date was short and sweet instead of long and boring.....

Yeah, I think Art is right. You probably forgot to say to the guy, when you went in to get the dog, "Sit! Stay!" of course he wandered away. Someone must have walked by with a sausage from the butcher in his pocket or else a b!tch in heat.
