Uh-Oh. I used to sit next to someone at work that breathed too loudly; couldn't stand it! Luckily, it was a co-worker. Could you maybe mash up your boyfriends food and ask him to use a straw?

I can't even describe it...i feel like such a mean person every time i think it. I even was at the point that i said something to him once and he had no clue what i was talking about

When his or her actions/habits start to wear on your nerves then you need to examine the reason this person is starting to irritate you. There are underlying problems.
