Since I've been on sites like this I have seen many guys profiles who felt the need to clarify that they are an "independent male"..correct me if I'm wrong as I'm sure many of you will..but shouldn't this be a given?..I mean seriously..since creation began it was man go out and provide for himself and/or his family..Should it really be a shocker or a need to specify that there are still men who do this?..I just watched the reunion show of Househusbands of Hollywood so yeah I'm kinda riled up..lol.
I mean damn,two of those guys don't even have kids they gotta look after! |

LOL@spoiled husbands..Well 3 of the guys are really good guys..they look after the kids and the house..one guy even helps his wife with her make up company BUT the other two are 100% healthy and do nothing..from what I can tell they don't even see after the house,They don't work in or out of the house but can find time to go to the shooting range and bars with their buddies..WTF?! |

The show that gets me is that BrideZilla's. How in the he-l do women like that end up with guys with jobs, looks, personality, and actually love them? Oooooovey!

It seems to me that a guy will take a evil,b!tch of a woman as long as shes a "10" over a girl with a great attitude who may only be a 7. |

I mean damn,two of those guys don't even have kids they gotta look after! maybe he meant independent in that he had no ex-wives and/or children to support? or no major debts? besides, there are a LOT of men who are down on their luck and can't afford homes, cars, vacations, etc. just because they can't, it doesn't automatically earn them the label of spoiled and to be made to feel shameful about their lives being less financially fruitful than, say my own. |

The sting seems to be substantially decreased when the shoe is on the other foot, doesn't it? But....it was so many women screaming for so many years for "equal rights". Now you got 'em. |

I don't think I read anywhere in this thread where someone was saying one was worth more than the other. The OP did not call herself an independent woman, then complain about men doing the same. |

I have known women that married these men when they were working but somehow they decided to quit there jobs and stay at home!! I personally could not handle this. They need to be working if I am working. |

I have known women that married these men when they were working but somehow they decided to quit there jobs and stay at home!! I personally could not handle this. They need to be working if I am working.
