A friend of mine gave me a bag full of habanero and jalapeno peppers.

I just got finished cutting them in half and taking out the seeds. I put them in the dehydrator so I can dry them and grind them up for seasoning purposes.

Now...the last time I cut up hot peppers, I made the mistake of rubbing my eye. NOT a pleasant experience.

So this time I avoid that particular fate...but I rubbed my nose.

I officially determined that those habanero are FREAKING HOT!!!!

Not only is my nose burning, but the skin on my fingertips is on fire too.

And before anyone says it....

I already washed my hands three times along with doing it periodically as I was cutting the peppers.

Dude, you should always wear gloves when working with a lot of peppers.

Your hands are going to burn for a long time and there is no way to relieve the burning.

I have done that before making salsa. Mine hands stung for 3 days!!!!

Okay this may sound off the wall but go put rubbing alcohol on the areas and it should stop the burning within minutes.....
