I see them tie the teachers hands more and more each year to the point that unless a parent builds a relationship with that teacher, the teacher is afraid to even approach a parent about a problem. That is why each year i make sure the teachers know I will work with them. It has worked very well for me.

I wish more parents were like you. That kind of thinking also teaches the kids to work with their teachers.

I'm sure there are times my son wishes I wasn't involved but too bad He starts missing assignments and his teachers e-mail me. I think its great and helps my son be successful cause he can't get away with anything

I agree with you one hundred percent Jayne.seems like today kids are ruling their parents and teachers.Its not right. Yeah but there are not enough parents who want to be involved. If we don't have the parents wanting changes then nothing will ever happen and that's a shame
