Wow! A lawsuit? laugh

Just put a little Vicks Vapor Rub under his eyes.laugh

LOL, I think he'd even survive that.. LOL Take his millions from him then you'll see real tears.

When hurricane Andrew devastated our area in Homestead Florida, my 'tough as nails' neighbor was on his knees in the front of his house walling his head of, while my gf and I were moving debris from our road way. He freaked when he saw that we noticed.

I could have sympathized with him if he wasn't such a controlling D-head on every other day. But the loss of his 'STUFF' was the only thing that could make him weep. I see Rush like that too, though it could be just his public face. Who knows, it's his public attitude that makes him his millions.

Crying doesn't work for enough people, so I doubt he would even adopt that tactic like Beck. Rush's audience prefers his self righteous anger and sarcasm. I think they might find it painfully embarrassing if he start the weeping thing that Beck does.

With 25 plus million listeners I'm sur ethat the NFL is worried as heck about what he will start saying. If anything else it will make for good radio ;)

My Mayor and city hall didn't want him to buy our football team. The NFL players didn't want him to either. Why? He's racist and the NFL is 75% black. In 2003, he was even dropped from ESPN after his comments.

You said he could sue. On what grounds could he sue?
Thats why the city is hurting...for having a mayor like that. Rush's name alone would create revenue with promotions, jerseys sales, ticket sales..etc. How is he racist? The comments that he made about D.M werent racist and some people like myself happen to agree with him on that statement. ESPN was trying to be the P.C police thats the only reason for his drop. And he lose potential money (millions)with not being allowed to pursue the football team and slander on his name for things that were NEVER said or even true. That will cost those people alot of money and headache in the near future.

My city isn't hurting. The fifth new house is being built on my street right now. They've already been sold. We're having a new highway built. Many good things are happening here. I just read yesterday that our employment is going up too. I don't have a clue as to why you said that my city is hurting.

We know Rush here. He grew up 2 hours from me.

Btw, I'm glad that my Mayor and City Hall have some integrity on this issue.

I know my Mayor. I like him. I've voted for him twice. He's done good things for my city.

Didn't you read these racist comments that I posted?

* "Look, let me put it to you this way: The NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and the Crips without any weapons. There, I said it."
* "We need segregated buses. ... This is Obama's America."
* "President Obama is black. And I think he's got a chip on his shoulder."
* Democrats are interested in Darfur to secure black "voting bloc."
* "Minorities never do anything for which they have to apologize."
* Obama's nomination for president "goes back to the fact that nobody had the guts to stand up and say no to a black guy."
* Obama is a "halfrican-American."

I don't listen to Rush. I don't think I've ever even heard him speak

but I'm wondering about denying someone the right(?) priviledge(?) of buying something because we don't like things he says

Let me help you, if you still don't get it.

http://michaelinmi.wordpress.com/2009/10/14/rush-limbaughs-nfl-bloods-vs-crips-quote-in-full-context/

Every quote you have posted was said WITHIN context. By posting them individually, you have taken them OUT of context.

When Rush said "Look, let me put it to you this way: The NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and the Crips without any weapons. There, I said it." , he was talking about behavior, not skin color.

I think it's racist that you think only blacks belong to the Crips and Bloods. That makes you the racist, not Rush Limbaugh.

After thinking some more, I have come to realize that almost everyone in this thread is a racist.

If you think "Look, let me put it to you this way: The NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and the Crips without any weapons. There, I said it." is a racist statement, then you are a racist. It is racist to believe that all gang members are black.

I think some people really need to examine their own hearts and try to figure out why they hold such racist stereotypes.

Quit being a bully, Winx can see what you pasted with out changing the colors. And Rush should check out his own behavior before talking about someone elses.

Personally I don't think anyone knows for a fact that he is a racist, but if he sounds like one, it's not going to help him either. People have the right to exclude him if they chose to because of his own behavior. Legally is another matter, but people can make it difficult for him. I don't feel one bit sorry for the guy, it's just karma.

You make a good instigator. Everyone here knows that gang members come in all colors including white. As I have mentioned before, Rush knows just how far he can go with a comment. It's like, Guess if I'm a racist, I won't give you enough to prove it though. He's a big mouth and trouble maker and he's paid quite well for it, and his audience tends to love him that way. So be it, no skin off my nose, hell take himself down one day.

I wasn't being a bully. She obviously didn't read or understand the definition for context. She just kept repeating "He said what he said and has said more then I posted." Yeah, he said it. But the context made it clear it wasn't about race. If she had read the definition, I would hope that her desire to be intellectually honest would cause her to look up the quote and read it in context.

But the bigger picture is that anyone who calls that quote racist, is actually showing themselves to be racist.

Well, if that makes me a racist, then ESPN, my city hall and Mayor, the NFL and all of the people that didn't want him to buy my city's football team must be racist too. Also, my black friend that was just at my house and read Rush's comments must be racist too.slaphead

I wouldn't doubt it. That or they are cowards who are too afraid to admit that what Rush said wasn't racist. If Rush really were a racist, they (and you) wouldn't need to take his statements out of context. That's an incredibly dishonest thing to do. Tell me, do you feel any shame for doing that?
