thanks for the lesson in "I know you are but what am I?" debating style now somebody repoprt this thread cause I'm fixing to tell him what a bombastic pedagogic jerk off azzhole this guys is No body should turn anyone in. Some times poeple just need to work things out as I posted earlier. We gals spoke out when we felt another poster was being a bully and condesending. We shouldn't have to just sit and take that. But we are also adults, we should be able to get a little hot under the collar and still work it out in the end. If not then we just move on. I hate it when a thread is pulled, no one learns anything from that either, though I certainly can't stop it from being pulled. I didn't see him as being condesending, she was ignoring what he said that she was taking the quote out of context and he proved it and she kept posting the same little snipit of the entire remark Rush made. You can take little snipits of a lot of peoples remarks and spin how you want to. It happens to Obama and when it does I bet those of you on here who support him would be the first to jump in and defend Obama. I'm really surprised here, TJN. As a woman, I feel that he was being condescending towards me. How am I taking a quote out of context when I am posting what my newspaper said about him? The article is from St. Louis. That's where I live and that's our football team. I post that and he posts a definition for a reply. I don't need help with my vocabulary. I replied that Rush said what he said and has said more than I posted. That's the truth. The football players felt the same way. So did my Mayor and the City Hall. He acted condescending by posting the definition in large print. I replied again and also large print. I also gave him a hint towards my feeling about it and told him that I didn't need larger print to be able to read. Soo..he had to push it and post it again in large print and this time in red. Then he said that I didn't read or understand the definition. Then he said that almost everybody in this thread is racist. Then he asked me if I felt shame for being incredibly dishonest. WT? Then he told another that I was dishonest. Good grief. This is what I get for posting part of an article from the newspaper of my city, the home of the Rams? |

Damn youtube. I can't watch youtube, my connection is way to slow. Probably something i won't particularly like anyway then I wasted a half hour loading crapola. lol Yeah, it was just a black man supporting Rush Limbaugh and lamenting the LIARS and DISHONEST people who have LIED about what he said and taken his quotes out of CONTEXT. Instead, just enjoy this picture of Obama smoking a joint. You are entitled to believe anything you like, but if you think a black man standing up for Rush convinces me that Rush is a wonderful guy, you've failed. And a photo of Obama smoking a joint? Doesn't look like him but so what if it is, it's not something he hide. That's the first thing I heard him talk about on the campaign trail, so what's that got to do with anything? |

Oh and by the way that is the exactly the way my old man neighbor smokes a cigarette too, so to me it doesn't even look like a joint but I would care very little if it was. That was then and this is now. |

Winx what your newspaper posted was a small portion of what rush said. I tried explaining like this in an earlier post. You can't take one sentance from a paragraph and get the meaning of the paragraph. that's taking it out of context. That's what he was trying to say. And you kept posting the same portion of the "paragraph" |

It's perfectly okay to judge someone on a quote taken out of context or even completely fabricated quotes and then ignore all of the defenders, no matter how right they are in their defense. |

Allen Keyes is black and he is a major "Kenyan birth certificate believer" guy.But that doesnt make it legit

Rush is racist. He knows how to stay just under the line so he will not be dismissed by those who cannot see subtle racism but that doesn't make him unprejudice.
The fact that there are so many who see it. Should show people there is something to it. I have had the unpleasant chance to listen to him and he is basically sliming all who listen with a course in how to be racist and keep it out of the spot light but still active. |

Allen Keyes is black and he is a major "Kenyan birth certificate believer" guy.But that doesnt make it legit Two totally different things. Why would a black man defend a white racist? It goes against his own self-interest. Why would a black man accuse his opponent of breaking the law? It serves his self-interest. I hope you can see the difference in the two actions. |

A word I would should have expected... Give me a break! I was just sitting here commenting I wasn't even upset. A self-hating black? Where the heck did that come from? I don't judge Rush for quotes, like I said I dont' care about the damn quotes, I do care about the dumba$$ thing he says in on his radio show though. And if you don't find them offensive as I find calling some black guy self-hating, then oh well. I'm sorry you can defend the guy all day long and it won't be 24 hours before he is saying something ridiculous again. Doesn't change the fact that he can be a real jerk and will be over and over again. |

Not wasting my time with youtube... if you want to tell me what it says great, but I dont' have time to wait for the bloody things to load. |

I don't judge Rush for quotes, like I said I dont' care about the damn quotes, I do care about the dumba$$ thing he says in on his radio show though. Like what kind of things? Wouldn't you have to QUOTE him to answer that question? What has he said on his show...IN CONTEXT...which you have a problem with? And if you don't find them offensive as I find calling some black guy self-hating, then oh well. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/sarcasm?jss=0 1. harsh or bitter derision or irony. |

Not wasting my time with youtube... if you want to tell me what it says great, but I dont' have time to wait for the bloody things to load. White folk's greed runs a world in need. Or when he called his grand mother a "typical white person" Those aren't racial comments |

Honestly Rush doesnt really bother me. I grew up listening to him in the 90s and I dont really put any stock in anything he says. I dont give really give him any attention. Its just Rush doing his thing. Occasionally he's funny.

The difference between you and me is this: You think that they don't understand. I think they understand, they just don't care. Both insulting, something you don't seem to care about yourself. It's insulting to say you don't understand that Rush is being quoted out of context. It's insulting to say that you understand that Rush is being quoted out of context, but don't care. "Damned if you do, damned if you don't." |
