What's more important?
The heart or the mind?
Can one do without the other?

If you don't have a heart, you die. If you don't have a mind, you're stupid. Either way, you're screwed. So you need both.

Heart....compassion, empathy, the capacity to love without condition?

Mind....the intelligence to discern the above?

You need both in equal measures.

The body, though it will not function, can live without either.
But, it the terms of actual 'living' that's not a life.

So if you ean scientifically or medically..
Then no.

Spirituality, that's a different story.

In the aspects of love:
The mind creates both doubt and uncertainty. It is the cause of hesitation and can store thoughts, memories, etc. It helps tell the heart what it is that it actually loves, cares for, and finds purpose in.

The heart is the core of the spirit. The heart knows where its home is, and its purpose is revolved around both life and love. However, a heart that has no power of mind, will wander aimlessly and know where to find love but know not how to actually find its way there.

So, I guess depending on how you look at it..
The answer is no both ways..

Having a good heart is way up on the list for me. But I also feel if they can't hold level ground in the brains department I will probably pass. Doesn't seem fair to feel like I have to dumb down to relate to my mate. Or for that matter for him to have to for me if he is really smart. I am not talking so much about education just the ability to think and solve problems.

Im wondering if this is a love question or is it a scientific question.

Scientifically if you take away the mind.....what do you have really????? Are we talking memories? cognition? mental capacity????

I have known Large hearts with little brains and I thought they were happy and healthy and fun to be around.
I have known little hearts with large brains and they were nasty, sarcastic and I wanted to avoid them.

Both can function in society as long as they have friends that relate
but in a partner I prefer an even amount of both

I can live I guess without a mind I think
But is it worth it for me?

My emotional heart?

I wear it on my sleeve. As usual

My emotional mind?

It's an amazing ride!!

Yet what most people cannot perceive, is the fact that the moment that the heart gets in the way of the mind, catastrophe will be the only product. The heart and mind must be well separated for the ehancement of one's own well being. Yet most mix these two rather intriguing bodily organs to formulate a rather bizarre spritual standing.

The mind is certainly not a bodily organ, and what is referred to in the contexts used is a matter less of the organ...heart....and more of the utilisation of spiritual congress. I cannot see what your point is . Maybe there isn't one?
Cognition, perception, fragmentation, me mories are all functions of brain activity, spiritual activity has been measured in some instances. Separation of one part of the psyche and another couild have disasterous consequences. Is that what you mean?
