you are so right, a classroom cannot teach anything about Jesus yet it's ok for them to have a project on nothing but muslims? Uh something wrong with that.

Well good for you, but it has NO place in our schools just like God cannot be mentioned at school. If Christianity cannot be taught in public school then NO religion should be taught in school. It's hypocritical to think otherwise.

I'm not talking about social studies, I'm talking about indoctrination. http://www.stoptheaclu.com/2005/11/18/9th-circuit-court-says-teaching-children-to-be-muslims-ok/

All I'm saying is if you allow students to study one religion, they should have to study all and NOT leave out Christianity. I love how some liberals don't argue the fact of separation of Church and state when it comes to islam. Yet when it comes to Christianity there is no tolerance.

The heading seems logical and a matter of common sense. We, as americans, dont even have a broad knowledge of world geography, how many truly understand global religions? something being misunderstood doesnt make it good or bad, it just implies that there may be misperceptions on both sides. I think this is true of every religion. I know I feel christianity is often misunderstood too.

No matter what you may believe, there is a huge difference between the muslim religion and Christian conservatives. How about a gay person leaving America and going to Iran, how long do you think his/her head would stay on his/her shoulder? Not very long, or won't be breathing very long.

The FACT IS if it is taught in school then ALL Religions should be taught!!!!!! No ifs, ands or buts!! No Christianity, no islam. frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated frustrated

Yes there is, so when a class is made to learn about a certain religion, other religions should be included.

All I am saying and I will say it until I die, if one is taught, then the others should be taught.

Not that hard to understand, pretty black and white.

you maybe right. My son's high school (same one I graduated from 20 yrs ago...I feel old lol) didn't have that class.

a class like that he would have enjoyed as long as all religions were taught as well. I wish they had something like that here but I think the school district doesn't want to take the chance
