Miss Cancer, I agree with you. The sexual aspect of any relationship
should be in private only, and between 2 consenting adults. Anyone who
flaunts their sexuality is just trying to get attention. Its clear that
they have some issues with the whole thing. I am a nurse, and work with
many male nurses who are gay. There are those who you cant really tell
they are gay until you get to know them. There are those who are
obviously effeminate, but who never flaunt there sexual orientation.
They are kind of like, just one of the girls. They are sensitive,
intelligent and fit in, just like everyone else. Then there are those
who openly flaunt their sexual preference. They make everyone
uncomfortable with their words and actions. These gays, I could do
without. I believe that these people have a mental illness for one
reason or another,
and I worry about them. Most of these nurses are on antidepressants and
any number of other mood altering medications. They have trouble
sleeping and struggle socially
most of the time outside of their gay circle of friends. I try
to get along with everyone. Sometimes it is hard to not be judgemental.
I do think that lesbians have it easier than gay men. Lesbian
relationships tend to be more socially acceptable. I remember
a lesbian couple who were neighbors of my parents when I was a young
girl. Everyone knew what they were. They didnt flaunt it. They just
lived peacefully as a couple in their house, just like everyone else.
They wore mens clothing and had short haircuts. They went fishing a
lot. They each worked a job, did
their own car and home maintenance and were active in the community.
Normal loving relationships are a good thing, no matter what your sexual
orientation is. I know that the Bible says something about same sex
activity not being acceptable, but God
created all of us and loves us unconditionally.
I believe that people who are homophobic, think that all gays
want to have sex with "them" They need to understand that they
may not be attractive to gays, just as, not all heterosexuals
are attracted to all other heterosexuals, just because theyre
heterosexual. So you naughty old Homophobics out there, you can
unclamp your butt cheeks and relax! They dont want you anyway.

What I had an issue with is the guys name Party_Fag. doesn'that sound
derogatory. I thought he was some gamer or someone going to cause
trouble. I would have thought he would choose a name that was not
flamitory towards gays in general. If a black guy choosed a name using
the N word. Would that be appropriate?

I watched a documtary on homophobes. It's been proven in studies that
when men whom are extremely homophobic are hooked up to sensors and
shown pornographic material containing gay sex, they become sexually
aroused. The more homophobic they are, the more sexually aroused they
become. Think about this guys this is fact.

As far as the name party_fag Recon, most gays or lesbians I have known
and do know, my hairdresser is gay...joke about it. Maybe they make
light of it because others are so uptight!

Nothing wrong with party_fag... especially since he's gay.

Gay, straight, whatever... I think it all doesn't matter.

Just be who you are.. .it's a shame there are people who are so scared
of it that they lash out in anger or violence...

I totally agree Vanchau, and for those who act out in violence against
homosexuality are the ones who have the problem!!

I love gay men as they make great friends and I never ever have to worry
about having sex with them even if I wanted to.

I was good friends with 2 gay men who were not seeing each other(they
happen to be first cousins sharing a house though). One of them asked me
one time if he could give me head after I knew him about a month. I said
HELL NO. He never mentioned it again and never came onto me in any way
after that.

My opinion on the marriage issue is simple. I think all "marriages"
that are done outside the church need to be called legal unions.
Marriage has more to do with religion and needs to be kept seperate. I
do think gays/lesbians need the legal benifits of marriage but leave
marriage for a man and a woman. So I am for homosexuals getting legal
unions and against homosexual marriages.

BTW the reason my ex left was because she choose to be with a woman
over me and the kids. I have spent plenty of time with lesbians and
gays.

You raise a good point J..I think most, if not all serious homophobes
are like that cuz they're afraid they're gay too and don't want others
to know it..hence the "macho" attitude they have towards gay
ppl...Bobcat Goldthwait said it brilliantly about ppl that beat gay
ppl...."I'm punchin yer face in cuz I'd really like to fuck you in the
ass"

I neither agree or disagree, its one's personal choice. I have had many
homosexual friends, both male and female, however I myself am not gay.
Once my friends knew that I was straight things were great, I was only
asked once if I might be interested, no one got grabby or ignorant, just
a question which I answered and we were friends ever since.

And let me tell you, I LOVE to go shopping with a gay male, OMG it is an
experience, it is even better than going shopping with your best female
friend that you have been friends with since childhood.

when someone uses a derogatory term against theirselves it is not
considered the same thing recon. alot of black people use the word but
it ain't alright for me to use it, same as for gay people. when they use
it theirselves sometimes it becomes so mainstream that it loses the
power that a biggot needs it for.
i don't think too many people here would object if you left your kitty
pic up and changed your name to little furry pussy lol

KB your as right as right can be. As for me and gays hey its been years
ago but the best roommate I every had was a gay guy. We had a pack that
we made and keep the whole time we were roommates we brought friends to
our house but for overnights visits we went to there place. Might sound
strange but hey we were roommates for 1 1/2 only reason we quite was due
to we both ended up moving from the area we were in. I will admit I had
a great time went partying with him a few times I mean think about it go
out meet alot of his friends and let me tell you alot of the guys just
looking at them you would never know that they were gay but of course he
told them first thing I was straight just wanted to see what gay bars
were like even went to a couple of drag shows they were awsome. Still
have friends that are gay that are female. Have they every came on to me
nooo. If they really are a friend they would not think about it if you
let them know up front the way you really feel. Myself I have never
thought of being with a woman it dont appeal to me. If it does to them
hey go for it just leave me off the list if you want to be my friend.

I heard a recent statistic..it said that 70% of gay men were born that
way...soooooo I'm guessing the other 30% got sucked into it??????
