A old man in brown robes and white beard walks in the tavern with the aid of a walking stick. With much effort he sits at a table. Boromir knows the man for many years now and serves him his desired drink and food. "Come here boy. I have a new tale to tell you," he mentions pushing out a chair. Boromir smiles as he sits with his mug of Goblin's Brew. He knows the story will be good.

Mission Statement list for The Green Dragon's Inn - October

If you have completed a mission in the Green Dragon’s Inn send me a link on what page you have accomplished this to receive 1 point. Remember 6 points allows your character to go up one complete level! This is especially useful when your character must do much to gain a level when already at a high level.

The higher the level your character is the more experience points he or she must attain just to make it to the next level. To accelerate this use the mission statement list to your advantage.

Choose any mission statement and go at it!

1. Start a fight at the tavern. Both must be fighting somehow. Be creative.

2. Act like you lost a gold coin and blame an opponent for doing that. You must have the opponent react to this situation to get a point.

3. Offer a potion of liquid to drink. Only you know what is in it and you can’t tell what it is to the adventurer you offer it to. He or she must drink it to get a point. You must also describes what happens to the one who drinks it.

4. Write a story about how you defeated a clan of orcs and have at least 4 adventurers reply to the story.

5. Tell a riddle for everyone to solve. There must be at least 2 participating and one who will give the correct answer.

6. Summon a small creature to create chaos in the tavern. Have one of the opponents attacked by it. He or she must resolve the problem without your help to gain a point.

7. Help Boromir cook a great meal in the kitchen. Make sure you describe the meal in detail and have 3 players eat it.

8. Invent a new drink at the Green Dragon’s distillery in the basement. Give it a name and have at least 3 people drink it.

9. Bring in 2 prostitutes and have them flirt with the men. Have one of them entice a player to go up to his room with the lady at the end of the day.

10. Play a game of cards. Invent a game of cards or dice and have one player play against you. How this can be done on the forum. Well be creative!

11. Pick on a player that is to the left of you on smiless friends list. Email him to enter the tavern and act like his character for at least one hour.

12. Tell the most disgusting adventure your character had ever experienced. Have at least 2 players reply to it.

13. Try to sell a magical necklace for 300 gold pieces. The magical necklace grants the wearer to levitate above the ground and glide instead of walk. If you actually sell one let the smiless know to deduct the gold from the character sheet.

14. Tell a story of a vampire that enters the tavern and gives a cold atmosphere. He cannot be defeated, but can be perswayed to leave if wanted. This must be done by a different player though and not yourself.

15. Tell of the last dungeon you had visited and what monster you had challenged. Do this for 5 days.

The door opens and in walks a green cloaked figure. He removes his hood and reveles shoulder length blond hair and crystal blue eyes. His hand crafted staff in his right hand, he waloed up to a table and took a seat.

Storyteller Note: Some of you may be wondering how can you be in the Green Dragon's Inn and in a dungeon(play by email game) at the same time.

See it like this:

Dungeon experience = the past
Green Dragon's Inn = the present

Your adventures of the dungeon at the moment is the experience you had attained before coming back to the Green Dragon's Inn. You where in the Green Dragon's Inn and a pixie teleported you into an unknown dungeon and it took you 84 days to get out of it to return back to the Green Dragon's Inn.

While you adventured in the damp corridors of the dungeon you gained experience and wisdom before finding the exit to have returned back to the Green Dragon's Inn where you call it home. And now you talk of your adventures of that dungeon here in the Green Dragon's Inn.

I hope this makes a little sense.:)

Boromir wipes down the bar and goes to the basement to fetch another keg of Goblin's Brew.

::So quietly, as without a sound or word, he remained in the darkest of corners, as he put out that one defining light. A knee bent, close to his chest, while the other just barely touched the floor. Never had he been known as the one to take a chair. He found comfort in the windowsill; and as per usual, this is where he was at. Those deep blue eyes peered out from beneath that hood, simply focused on the outside; unintentionally or maybe with intent, but regardless which he ignored those within for now. Solemn and peaceful, though that mind continued to ramble. Maybe he was cursing his own dire fate.::

"Um, 'Scuse me, sir, but you do know we have chairs, right? They are made for sitting afterall."

::He slowly let his head turn, he looked upon her frame, he said not a word, he made not a single move, except the raising of his mug. He took a short sip, as those eyes glanced to the table, those eyes moved back to her, but he would simply look back out the window. Still, he gave her no response.::

*watches the new comer, her removes her hood. Letting her long red hair flow freely. Her green eyes never leaving this strange new man.*
