This thread has few requirements......
The pic should be one that you actually snapped...or a friend snapped for you. No photography skills required. No high dollar camera required. Just something from around your area that you think of as cool. I will kick this puppy off with a couple examples.... My ugly niece hanging out with the neighbors longhorns...she loves em and they are like puppies.... |

The "Young Horns" image is absolutely fantastic. The young one is smiling just perfectly for this image.
May the wings of the Guardian whisper their blessings on this young Angel. Many Blessings, SpiritWolf |

" Redneck Surfing "
Was going to the store, it was raining, saw this... could not believe it. Yep, my hometown, we're SO proud of our young folks!! Notice the mandatory red nose pit. |

Bibi Clement, potter, was setting the cones before her Japanese kiln was sealed and fired. In 2004 it was the largest kiln of its kind in Canada (maybe it still is). The kiln is the size of a school bus with arches, chimneys, airholes and doors. The 360 cubic foot chamber is capable of holding 1,000 pots. It takes 12 cords of wood cut into kindling for a short 6-day firing. There are also 10+ day firings. The kiln has to be stoked through several holes around the clock by volunteers. It was a way cool experience. |
