Yeah actually found it at Big Lots thought it was pretty kewl that way it will give a added flair to the basic color.... they had rollers that had cloth on them as well to give it a different texture as well.

Rag or texture painting can give great dimension to a room...just make sure to change directions so it doesn't look like stripes...unless that's the look you're going for...

Make sure that all you don't want painted is either removed or covered/Wrapped in newspaper.

Then just place the can of paint in the middle of the floor, Stick a flashbang in the tin and retreat to a safe are. [preferably another room)

WORKS FOR ME bigsmile

In my former residence, two bathrooms worked really well.

The main bath I tiled in large scale tile - yes you can do that in a small area but it is going to depend upon your space and how things are situated ... in mine, 18 in squares angled on the floor worked well

and the walls were tiled with the top 10 inches or so painted and a nice crown molding - 8 x 10's subway style vertically from the floor - 3 rows - then a 3/4 inch chrome strip - then one row of tile - then a 1/2 inch chrome strip - then 2 rows of 2 inch mosaic. Tiled in the tub as well. A nice stone from Italy.

Another small bathroom I did in venetian plaster - very classic and rich!

As for paint, dark colours can be really rich and cozy ... light (even white) can also be beautiful. I've done an all white bath before that was amazing. Use textures, layers and shades of white for a rich look though otherwise it will feel like a hospital.

I tend to prefer classic backdrops accented with punches of colour but it is your space, pick what you love and have fun with it.

We want pictures! bigsmile
