Are old fashioned gentlemen really so out of date that women will not give them the time of day? It sometimes seems like it. NOW, when I say old fashioned gentleman I mean in how he dresses and the kind of things he thinks are fun. I am not referring to any attitudes about gender roles.

Ummm,,,its probably not very popular with most ladies if a guy dresses too much in a manner thats going to draw alot of negative attention. Its good to stay fairly current on fashion trends. Other than that,, common interests and values are timeless...

well it really depends how he dresses and what he finds fun. but not all the attitudes and gender roles are that "evil" anyway...my parents are depression era folks so i personally am sometimes attracted to someone a little more old fashioned (depending ont he definition) in manner but im just as likely not to be as well. it really just depends ont he person. we all have our quirks

well if hes looking like hes back from the 1600 hundreds i hope i have my steel toed boots on to kick him in the balls.my ex used to wear Hawaiian shirts all the time and it drove me crazy

well i dont think so as i have found a few that caught my eye and yea i dated them as well in the past
i would prefer a man that was old fashion for there are so many that arent worth the effort

i used to wear purple alot for that was my fav color and the bf i had at the time ask me if i had a differnt color shirt he got tired of me wearing purple

In "things you think are fun..." if that means t.p.'ing someone's house or playing Chug-a-Lug or doing Indian burns on someone's arm then I'd have to say maybe that's too old fashioned for many gals. In attire I'd say no bolo ties, wing-tips or Dr. Kildaire shirts.

I like modern thinkers, from what I've seen of the "olden days" I wouldn't have been comfortable then- at all. Good luck with that, though.
